Mt Lowry Challenge
The Mount Lowry Challenge is Wellington's premier mountain run. Leaving from Days Bay, Eastbourne, it is a 12.75km run or walk that challenges different levels of fitness. The route winds up through Eastbourne and along bush lined tracks in East Harbour Regional Park. Rising from sea level to 350 metres, this challenge gives some wonderful views of Wellington Harbour. Join the ranger on a walk through the lovely native coastal forest of Lowry Bay. Learn about local forest ecosystems and enjoy stunning evening harbour views.
Max 35 people, bookings essential.
Gollans Valley Adventure
Date: Saturday 28 February
Time: 8.30am - 3.00pm
Where: East Harbour Regional Park, meet at Muritai entrance
Explore the off-track heart of East Harbour Regional Park in a guided tramp. A bus will drop is at York Bay where we'll take the lesser knowen Kaitawa St Track to the Main Ridge. Then we drop down into Gollans Stream, folloqing the valley to Butterfly Creek and back to the start via Kowhai Track.
Must be able to walk off track for 6hours.

Eastbourne Wharf to Wharf Swim
The annual Eastbourne Wharf to Wharf Swim is a fun, non-competitive friendly swim event that all age groups can enjoy together. The event features a 1.25km, swim from Days Bay Wharf to Rona Bay Wharf in Eastbourne.
